Custom Fiber Processing

Alpacas
will custom process your favorite Alpaca or Llama fleece into
roving, or finished product.
Each fleece will be processed separately unless specified.

ROVING :
$16 per finished pound in roving. (Price includes
washing)
DEHAIRING:
$7.50 per incoming pound. Any fiber that contains guard hairs, vegetation or 2nd cuts will be dehaired at the owners expense.
HAND SKIRTING:
$25 per hour.

To insure the finest quality
finished product, the animal's fleece should be picked and blown
out prior to shearing. After shearing, please skirt your
fleece, removing guard hairs, badly stained areas and as much
vegetative matter as possible.
We reserve the right to reject any fiber
containing extreme amounts of vegetation, fiber that is too
long, too short or that is in any other way not suitable for
processing. |
